Ingredients:
250 gms Tomato
2 cups coconut
2 Big Onion (cut into pieces)
1 Inch Ginger
7 Garlic Pieces
20 Small Onions
2 Green Chilly
10 Red Chilly
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
2 tsp Channa Dal
4 Clove
4 Small Cinnamon stick
1 tsp Soombu
1/2 tsp Kus Kus
Salt to taste
Curry Leaves
Coriander leaves
Method:
Heat the pan and pour some oil add small onion, garlic, clove, cinnamon stick, soombu, kuskus and fry them for few minutes. Separately fry tomato, red chilly and channa dal. Grind all this. Grind coconut and collect coconut mixture in a bowl. Heat the pan and pour some oil add clove, small cinnamon stick, add big onion, 2 green chilly, curry leaves, coriander leaves and fry them till the onion becomes golden brown colour. Add turmeric Powder and add tomato mixture (already ground) and heat the mixture for some time. Then add coconut mixture to it. Finally garnish the coriander leaves.
Serve along with Idly and Dosa
