Tomato Dosa

Ingredients:

400 Gms Rice
5 Tomatoes
50 Gms Urdu Dal
10Nos.small onion cut into small pieces
3 Pieces Garlic
4 tsp Coconut
8 or 10 Red Chilies
1/2 tsp Soombu
1 1/2 tsp Jeera
Salt as required

Method:

Soak Rice for 2 1/2 to 3 hours and after draining the water grind the rice and add tomatoes, chilies, small onion, Sombu, Coconut, Garlic and add required salt to this and mix some water. Grind this mixture and add Jeera finally. Add few drop of Asafetida power and now the dosa batter is ready.
Heat the griddle and pour tomato batter and spread it evenly and allow for few minutes and turn over cook the other
side for a minute.
Now hot Tomato Dosa is ready for serve.
Excellent combination would be Coconut chutney.
