Ingredients:
4 Bitter Gourds
4 tsp Aniseed Powder
3 tsp Coriander Powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Tamarind Paste
1 tsp Chilly Powder
1 tsp Mustard Powder
2 tsp Jaggery
1 tsp Cummin Powder
1 tsp Lemon Juice
Salt to Taste
Method:
Lightly scrape the bitter gourd skin and wash throughly. Rub with salt and steam for five minutes. Slite length wise carefully scoop out the seeds. Mix all the stuffing ingredients and stuff the bitter gourd throughly and secure with a thread. Deep fry in hot oil over medium heat for ten minutes, till brown. Drain and serve hot.
Now the Stuffed Bitter Gourd is ready to serve.
Serve along with Plain Rice, Curd Rice.
