Small Potato Gravy

Ingredients:

500 Gms Potato
2 Onions (Chopped)
2 Tomato (Chopped)
2 Green Chilly
6 Red Chilly
1/2 tsp Garlic Paste
1/2 tsp Cummin Seeds
1/2 tsp Coriander Seeds
1 tsp Peppercorns
4 Cloves
4 Cinnamon
1/2 tsp turmeric Powder
1 Cup Curd
Coriander Leaves
Salt to Taste

Method:

Boil the potatoes in water to which a pinch of salt has been added. Remove the peel and cut each potato into two pieces. Grind chillies and garlic to a fine paste. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the potatoes till light brown. Drain and set aside. Heat a little oil and brown the cummin seeds, coriander seeds, cloves, cinnamon and peppercorns. Add chopped onions, chilly garlic paste and fry for two minutes. Add turmeric powder, tomatoes and beaten sour curds and fry till the oil floats on the top. Add fried potatoes. Stir well and keep the pan on a hot tava over a low flame for a few minutes and allow to cook for a few minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
