Paneer Tikkis

Ingredients:

2 Lts Milk
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
2 Slice Bread
2 tbsp Cornflour
1 small Chopped onion
Coriander leaves
2 green chillies
11/2 tsp salt
1/4 pepper
5 tsp Oil

Method:

Boil milk in a pan and add lemon juice and stirr till the milk curdles and remove pan . Place muslin cloth in a bowl and pour the milk and strain. gather up corners of muslin and tie above curd. Hang the bag for 1/2 hour and gently squeeze bag to drain excess whey. take 400 paneer from this and make tikkis. Gently crumble paneer.
Immerse bread in water for 15 seconds and squeeze and discard water. Shred bread into tiny piecesMix with fungertips paneer, bread and all other ingredients except oil. Make 20 slightly rounded patties about small round.
Spread 1 tsp oil on tava and place on medium heat for few minutes. Reduce to low heat. Add 4 patties and fry both sides till golden brown for two minutes. Fry remaining patties in the same manner and serve hot. Goes well with chutney.
