Ingredients Required:
1 big Onion
4 garlic Chopped
1 Tomato ones cut into small pcs
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1/4tsp Urdu Dal
Curry Leaves
Coriander leaves
1/2 Coconut
1/2 Inch ginger
3 Green chillies
4 Red chillies
4 Clove
4 Small Cinnamon stick
1/2 tsp kus kus
2tsp Channa Dal (Pottu Kadalai)
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
Method:
Grind coconut, ginger, red chilly, green chilly, Kus kus, clove, cinnamon stick and Channa Dal (Pottu Kadalai) and collect this mixture in a bowl. Heat the pan and add Mustard seed, Urdu Dal, Onion, garlic, Curry Leaves and coriander leaves and fry them till the onion becomes golden brown. Add the chopped tomatoes and turmeric powder to the mixture and continue to fry till tomatoes are soft now. Mix the coconut mixture already ground to these, mix 1 1/2 cup of water and boil till the mixture becomes thick. The Idly Kuruma is ready. This could be served for Idly and Dosa.
