Chicken Kulambu

Ingredients:

500 gms Chicken
1 Big Onion
2 Tomato cut into small pieces
2 Cup Coconut
1 Inch Ginger
10 Garlic Pieces
15 Small Onions
2 Green Chilly
1 1/2 tsp Red Chilly
2 tsp Coriander Powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
5 Clove
5 Small Cinnamon stick
1/2 tsp Soombu
1 tsp Kus Kus
Salt to taste
Curry Leaves
Coriander leaves

Method:

Grind coconut, 3 clove, 3 small cinnamon stick, soombu, kus kus (dry fan fry) and collect this mixture in a bowl. Grind seprately ginger, garlic and small onion.

Heat the pan and pour some oil add 2 clove, 2 small cinnamon stick, add big onion and fry them till the onion becomes golden brown colour and add tomato mixture and continue to fry till it becomes soft. Add ginger, garlic, small onion paste, green chilly and add chicken and fry it becomes till the chicken becomes soft and oil surfacing on top. Add red chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and coriander leaves and fry for 10 minutes till the chicken is boiled. Now add coconut mix and allow it to boil for few minutes. Now chicken kulambu is ready. Finally garnish with the coriander leaves.

Serve for Biriyani, Plain Rice, Chappatti.
