Cheese Kofta Curry

Ingredients:

100gm Cheese
50gm Bengal gram flour
¼ tsp Turmeric
¼ tsp Chilly powder
A small piece Ginger
¼ tsp Coriander powder
¼ tsp Green chilies
100gm Onions
250gm Tomatoes
A pinch Cumin
1 tsp Curds
A pinch soda bicarbonate
At taste Salt
Oil
A few springs Coriander leaves

Method:

Grind together to a fine paste the turmeric, chilly powder and
coriander powder. Heat oil. Add cumin, chopped onions, green chilies and ginger. Sauté. Add ground spices and fry. Add chopped tomatoes and salt to taste. Simmer, adding a little water if necessary. Cut cheese into cubes. Prepare a thick batter with gram flour, soda, salt and water. Dip cheese in the batter and deep-fry. Drain and put into prepared curry. Cook for a few minutes. Add beaten curds. Do not boil after adding curds but mix well. Serve hot, garnished with a pinch of finely chopped coriander leaves.
